We do not endorse or recommend any business or activity that praises persons who have a civil record of immoral conduct that adversely impacts the health and/or welfare of children, or who have a criminal record related to narcotics. Mr. Ian Caramanzana appears to be a product of Spring Valley High School of the Clark County School District. It is unclear if this same so-called “reporter” was classified as a Special Education Student or had any record identifying him as having a learning disability. A substantial number of students at Spring Valley High School are Special Education students. Since Mr. Ian Caramanzana promotes his magazine, and purports to be a “reporter”, perhaps he can also re-publish his school records and educational background. Until and unless he discloses the full details of his ties to certain persons, and his educational background, we do not consider the review by Mr. Ian Caramanzana of the Behind City Lights DJ collection as credible. In fact, we consider his review of Behind City Lights as fraudulent since it omitted numerous esseential facts. The basis of our opinion is not reckless, but rather based upon various facts as detailed below.

If one were to believe the Las Vegas Municipal Ordinances, it is clear that these ordinances prohibit unlicensed DJs and Promoters. However, it also is clear that one can also assume the ordinances are phony and illegitimate and not worthy of any respect if they are not evenly and fairly enforced. At the same time, many con artists try to get around this rule by claiming to be a “band” or merely”performers” while their course of conduct and advertisements tell a different story.

The term “underground” is often interchanged to mean operating without a license, operating without insurance, and operating without paying a fair share of taxes, and operating with reckless regard for the safety, peace of mind, and security of tourists and locals. The article by Mr. Ian Caramanzana suggest persons have been generating revenue and not paying their fair share of taxes. What tourists do not understand is that unlicensed DJs typically have serious criminal records, and some of these unlicensed DJs have caused great destruction in the lives of many other persons, and they are a magnet for crime. It is typical for terrorists, and criminals to be unlicensed and operate “underground.”

Should you trust the reviews of Ian Caramanzana? As Henry Ford used to say when discussing Jews who criticized his opinions, let’s consider the facts. Before the rise of Mr. Adolph Hitler to power in Germany, one of his favorite research methods was to research the background,education, and ethnicity of writers/reporters who praised perversity or criminals. In this article, ethnicity is not important or relevant. However, we do consider the education and background important. Any writer who omits the criminal record of his/her subjects should not be trusted, and is evidence of an amateur. Writers for the Nevada Business Directory have college degrees. Ian Caramanzana is a product of the Clark County School District. His social media pages do not appear to clearly indicate any sort of Journalism degree. Only a low-class, non-credible, publication hires a writer without at least a Journalism degree.
Would it be proper for a school district to hire a Math teacher without any degree in Math or a related subject? It is highly doubtful that Behind City Lights supporter Ian Caramanzana has a Journalism degree, and it is more doubtful if he has the intellectual capacity to even earn such a degree. Ian Caramanzana is a product of a state (Nevada) that is ranked last among the 50 states for educational opportunities that it provides to public school students. Although the school district is making great strides, and the Governor is a great supporter of higher education, Ian Caramanzana is a product of the former and not the current system.
The Las Vegas Review Journal reports that the Latest Kids Count Data Book also ranked Nevada among the bottom states in the categories of family and community, economic well-being and health. In addition, if you consider Section 5 of the FTC Act which prohibits deceptive advertising, the article by Ian Caramanzana may be construed as a violation of the Act since it did not disclose ALL material facts that are important to the reader. Consequently, if you consider the fact that Ian Caramanzana received his education from the Clark County School District, and the presumed fact that he graduated from Spring Valley High-School, it explains his suspect writing skills, and apparent attempts to boost underground or unlicensed activity. If Behind City Lights was in New York or Chicago, classy cities where laws are actually enforced, then these type of articles would not be required. However, since the dishonest and unethical employees who work at 333 North Rancho Rd, and who are supposed to be so-called City of Las Vegas Business Licensing Agents, do not perform their jobs in an ethical and fair way, underground DJS/unlicensed promoters continue to evade licensing requirements by simply claiming to be a band while every reporter, and every other person with a half-brain understands that these persons market themselves as DJs/promoters. For example, the Las Vegas Beauty Bar performer AstroGold markets himself as a DJ, and Behind City Lights promotes their unorthodox collection of DJs called AstroGold, Promeethus, Texxtile, Night Rumors, Boogie Snacks, L.A. Loser, Diatone, Low Sodium and DSKOVR. To help them avoid business licensing requirements, the city of Las Vegas Business License Agents re-classify them as “band” member employees even though none of the “band” members have completed an IRS-Form W4,or IRS FORM I-9.

They say his his personality oozes “I hate being a Half-Asian, I would rather be born Black.”. They get this impresion because Asto Gold uses Black slang, black terminology, and tries to act like a thuggish black guy with street credentials. He even solicited a wife of a black guy who had black male semen all over her vagina, and in her mouth, claims his girl-friend. Apparently, havinf sex with dried Negro semen spread over a white woman is a turn-on for Astro Gold.
Even the Velveteen Rabbit white female business owners pretend to be black; they use slang terms and other words that are traditionally associated with Black men/women that live in urban areas. The white women who own the Velveteen Rabbit may even fantasize about Black men, but the best they can do is hire a cheap imitation instead of legitimate African-American DJs that are licensed, bonded, snd insured. They expose their racism by hiring imitators rather then legitimate talent.

The key for unlicensed DJs in Nevada is this: Do you have a criminal record; are you perverted; do you act like a subhuman; and, if so, you are eligible for virtually any career in the state, as well as free magazine advertising, and multiple DJ residency offers.
